Project Summary
Purdue University and Centaur Gaming joined forces to build the Centaur Equine Diagnostic and Surgical Center, situated in Shelbyville near Indiana Grand. This cutting-edge facility acts as a satellite extension of the College of Veterinary Medicine, offering specialized medical and surgical services tailored to horse owners. Moreover, it facilitates equine research endeavors and the education of upcoming specialists in the field of equine medicine. IEI provided all electrical and support systems for the new facility. This included new electrical service, an Automatic Transfer Switch, Service Entrance equipment, Uninterruptible Power Supplies, Lighting, Fire Alarm, Telecommunications, Door Security, and Access Control. IEI also installed, coordinated start-up, and commissioned advanced diagnostic imaging, shockwave therapy, regenerative medicine, endoscopy laser surgery, and specialized equine orthopedic surgery equipment.
