    Job Description

    Industrial Electric, a well-established full-service electrical and systems contractor based in central Indiana, is currently offering full-time employment opportunities for a BIM Coordinator. This position involves engagement across all phases of construction, including BIM modeling and AutoCAD design. The BIM Coordinator collaborates closely with engineers and other trades, manages project files, reviews project plans, leads multiple project teams, and holds overall accountability for the successful completion of assigned electrical construction projects.

    Job Function

    • Develop detailed BIM models and construction documents through schematic design and development stages, including component parts details and schedules.
    • Manage BIM coordination, project datasets, workflows, file storage, and project setup efficiently.
    • Produce and manage electrical design drawings to meet deadlines and ensure proper file storage management.
    • Manage and maintain project content and source additional content for project teams.
    • Responsible for developing, coordinating, publishing, and verifying model information.

    Job Function

    • Maintain project files
    • Maintain contract drawings, shop drawings, and submittal controls
    • Verify accuracy and completeness of submittal against contract drawings and specifications
    • Research and resolve drawing interpretations
    • Assist in project schedule maintenance
    • Assist in the coordination of vendor material ordering, deliveries, and storage of materials
