The Childrens of Museum Of Indianapolis

Indianapolis, Indiana

Playscape, at the Children’s Museum of Indianapolis, is an extension of the museum galleries. It is one of the first galleries designed specifically for preschoolers.   A few of the features in the Playscape area are:

  • Water and sand play stations
  • Art and music studio
  • Pond with a climbing structure
  • Dress up area

Industrial Electric was the electrical contractor for the renovation of a 10,000 square foot area on the third floor of the Children’s Museum that would become known as Playscape. Our scope of work included new distribution equipment, fire alarm, and core drilling to accommodate the interactive environment and displays. An elaborate architectural lighting design layout and associated controls compliments this creative learning experience for young minds. The museum remained open for business during the construction phase of this project.
