The scope of this two year project included the installation of an expanded fiber optic backbone system, the replacement of multiple PLC’s across the plant, along with new process control conduit and wiring. The computer equipment and all of the hardware and software were all replaced to transition from the existing system to a new Rockwell System. A precast building was coordinated and installed, along with the installation of electrical equipment to act as the new control room for the Headwork’s building. A new operator control station was also designed and installed to accommodate the new digital control system to monitor and control all plant wide operations, all while keeping the waste water treatment facility operational.
